Jake Quickenden is a star well-known for his participation on the X Factor UK and a campmate during the fourteenth season of I'm a Celebrity, entering as a late entry on Day 5. On December 7th, 2014, Jake came out as the runner-up to superbike race; Carl Fogarty.


Jake was born on 3rd September 1988 and raised in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. Jake took up a football career initially, playing as a youth player for Scunthorpe United, which resulted in him breaking his leg.

Years after, Jake took part in the ninth series of the X Factor UK, where he was eliminated at Judges Houses by mentor Nicole Scherzinger in the Boys category. He returned to the show 2 years later, where he once again made the Judges Houses stage as part of the boys category, this time being put through by the current mentor; Mel B to the Live shows. Jake was eliminated during the third week of the Live shows thanks to majority vote by the judges.

After this, he quickly went on to enter the I'm a celebrity jungle on Day 5 of the series, managing to finish as the runner-up on Day 23, being beat by Carl Fogarty.
